CANADIAN SOCIETY FOR THE STUDY OF PRACTICAL ETHICS (CSSPE) |
When: June1-3, 2019 Where: University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC We invite submissions for papers and presentations on any topic in applied ethics and applied politics, broadly understood. Interdisciplinary papers and panel proposals are welcome. Abstracts should be no more than 300 words, prepared for blind review, and are due by January 20, 2019. Please send files that are in MS Word, Rich Text, or Pages format. We prefer not to deal with PDF files where possible. Please send your abstract to the association Secretary, Kira Tomsons at tomsonsk@douglascollege.ca Students are eligible for the Don MacNiven Student Essay Prize. If the abstract is selected for the conference, a paper suitable for a 20 minute presentation must be submitted along with proof of student status by March 20, 2019 to be eligible for the essay prize, which is an offer of publication in the online journal managed by the CSSPE. Presentation at the conference is necessary to be eligible.
