Team Biographies

CSSPE

 

Dr. Mark Young joined the Keyano College faculty in 2014 and is an instructor in the areas of both philosophy and political science. Before coming to Keyano College, Mark taught at the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Red Deer College, and Lakehead University. His areas of specialization include political theory, applied ethics and ancient Greek philosophy.

 

 

 

 

Alyssa is a PhD student in the Department of Philosophy and a Fellow in the W. Maurice Young Centre for Applied Ethics, at the University of British Columbia. She works primarily in bioethics and is currently working on the topic of regret and medicine. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Abiola is a PhD candidate in the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Ottawa’s Philosophy Department, affiliated with the Canadian Robotics and AI Ethical Design Lab (CRAiEDL). His research revolves around the interconnection of people and culture in the workplace, trustworthy AI, and responsible AI design.  

 

Stephen is a PhD candidate at the University of Ottawa. He works primarily on Bioethics. His present research focus on the ethics of organ transplantation and MAID organ donations. Other research interests include healthcare ethics and the philosophy of literature.

 

Dr. Maureen Muldoon is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, and Social Science at the University of Windsor. She teaches courses in professional ethics, health care ethics, and interdisciplinary research methods in the Interdisciplinary Arts and Science program.

 

Catherine is a dynamic graphic design graduate passionate about bringing creative ideas to life. With a strong foundation in design and layout, web design, photography, videography, and communications, she excels in transforming concepts into visually captivating designs.  Catherine has an enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence, Catherine is ready to make her mark in the creative industry.
